Le Nauzan Plage is a well equipped family site close to the popular resort of Royan. This is a lively site in peak season with a wide range of amenities and activities. These include swimming pools for adults and children, a children’s playground and bouncy castle, as well as a snack bar with takeaway food, and a well stocked shop. The nearest beach (Nauzan Plage) is just 450 m. away. The 170 touring pitches (90 to 150 sq.m.) are grassy and generally well shaded; most have electricity (10A). The site is divided into two parts by a small stream. A number of fully equipped mobile homes are available for rent.

Vaux-sur-Mer is a stylish resort with a market, shops and easy access to Royan, the Côte Sauvage and its vast forest. The zoo at La Palmyre is also within easy reach and is generally considered the best in France. A little further afield, the oyster beds at Marennes and the Atlantic islands of Oléron, Ré and Aix all merit a visit, as does Saintes with its important Roman heritage.

From Royan head west towards La Palmyre and St Palais. Upon reaching Vaux, head inland on Avenue de Nauzan Plage and the site is well signed.
