Le Moulin de Verdagne is a rural site surrounded by vineyards and close to the historic town of Gassin. There are 135 pitches (70 for tourers) set on small terraces with the largest pitches at the front of the site. Access to and around the site is not easy for very large outfits due to the narrow approach road and low hanging foliage within. The site has a large heated swimming pool and independently owned restaurant and bar. When the owners took over the site over ten years ago they began slowly undertaking an ambitious modernisation plan to include the renovation of sanitary facilities, improvements to internal roadways and extending the camping area. Good English is spoken.

The local town of Gassin dates back to 1234 AD and is famed as one of the most beautiful towns in France. Offering 360 degree views over the whole Saint-Tropez peninsula, Gassin’s ancient streets and medieval fortress are well worth exploring, particularly l’Androuno, claimed to be the narrowest street in the world which can only be taken by one person at a time – and they have to be pretty trim!

The usual sanitary facilities are provided. Washing machine. Bread to order. Bar, restaurant and takeaway (all season). Large heated outdoor swimming pool and paddling pool (1/6-30/9). Pétanque. Play area. Entertainment (July/Aug). Gas supplies. Fridge hire. Barbecues are not allowed. WiFi.

Directions to Camping le Moulin de Verdagne

From A8 (towards Nice) take exit 13 towards Le Cannet-des-Maures and St Tropez. At La Foux, turn on D559 (Cavalaire, La Croix-Valmer). On entering La Croix-Valmer, turn left towards Brost. Follow road for 1.5 km. (narrow with challenging bends and steep declines). Site entrance is on left.
