This is a small but well-maintained 3-star camp site in the Dordogne just outside Saint Julien De Lampon.

The site offers a selection of various accommodations as well as 64 spacious pitches, facilities were modern and excellent, and the whole site was very well maintained by the owners who run the site. On site, you can order fresh bread and pastries each morning, and there is a small shop stocking quality local wine, produce, and the local village is only a short distance away.

This is a very peaceful site in a rural location and ideal for touring the Dordogne.

There is a modern outdoor swimming pool, and shorts are not allowed, only swimming trunks; the pool is unsupervised. Canoeing and Cycle Hire can also be booked directly from the site; there is a children’s play area and plenty of open space for ball games.

Facilities at Camping le Mondou

Two sanitary blocks provide basic facilities, including accessible facilities, baby baths, washing machine, ironing board and iron. Terrace bar and snackbar with breakfast available each morning which offer local produce as does the small on site shop. Fridge Hire is also available. Large swimming pool with sun terrace and children’s paddling pool (1/5-30/9). Rustic style play area and large playing field. Boules pitch, volleyball/badminton net. TV room. WiFi.

Directions to Camping le Mondou

Site is 12 km. southwest of Souillac. From D807, at Rouffillac, turn south across the river Dordogne (D61 signed St Julien-de-Lampon). Entering village turn left (D50, signed to Mareuil). Site in 500 m. beyond village.
