Millau Plage is located on the banks of the Tarn river, 3 km. from the interesting town of Millau, and with good access to the Tarn gorges. A wide variety of trees provide ample shade for the 251 pitches, 211 for touring; over half have electricity (5A). Forty pitches are occupied by mobile homes for rent. There is a pleasant pool next to the restaurant and bar area. Millau is an historic town with modern shops, bars and restaurants, and is a very popular place for hang-gliding and watersports.

Outings could include a visit to view Norman Foster’s impressive Millau Viaduct, a drive up the attractive gorges of the valley of the Tarn, or to Le Chaos de Montpellier le Vieux, a rocky labyrinth that can be explored on foot, by Petit Train or on a Via Ferrata, or even a day trip to the delightful town of Albi (and the Gaillac cellars). Don’t forget to taste the famous Roquefort cheese!

Five toilet blocks (one completely renovated) along the middle of the site provide easy access from all pitches. Accessible sanitary facilities, Motorhome services. Small shop, bar with TV (1/7-31/8) and snack type restaurant with takeaway (15/6-31/8). heated outdoor swimming pool (1/6-20/9). Children’s club in high season. Fishing and river swimming. Activity and entertainment programme. WiFi over part of site (charged).

Directions to Camping le Millau Plage

From north leave A75 (Clermont-Ferrand/Béziers) at exit 44.1 and follow Aguessac (D29) then Paulhe and join D187 towards Millau. Site on right in 4 km. From south leave D909 (Millau) at exit 47. Follow signs for Campings at each roundabout, turn right across river and take third exit at next roundabout. Site is on left in 1.5 km.
