If you do this site by the river, facing the Presles massif at just 240 meters above sea level, it is close to many hiking trails and sites for climbing or white-water sports. There are 46 terraced touring pitches with electric hook-up point 6amp, some by the river close to the services offered by the site or others in the higher area from which the view is breath-taking. There are also 4 mobile homes available to hire. You could also experience Glamping in one of the lodge tents, as close as possible to the nature.

Do take advantage of the ideal location of the site, within the Vercors Regional Natural Park, at the gateway to the Gorges de la Bourne to discover outdoor, sporting and cultural leisure activities. Explore the Canyon, practice white water sports or the many hiking trails, travel magnificent roads in the mythical gorges of the Vercors, visit the picturesque villages, discover the many caves with wonderful stalactites and stalagmites, unique in Europe.

Directions to Camping le Gouffre de la Croix

From Lyon take A43 Then the A48 Voreppe. Now continue on A49/E713 and leave at junction 9. Join D518 cross the Bridge over the River Isere and continue to Malot, Birollet and Pont-en-Royans following signs to Villard -de-Lans. At Pont-en-Royans join 531 to Choranche, just after the Hotel cross the river bridge to join Route Vezor and the site is off this road.
