Camping le Garrigon is a maturing site, first opened in 2010. It can be found in the pleasant Provençal countryside at Grillon, one of the historical and cultural centres of the Vaucluse. There are 114 pitches here of varying sizes and surrounded by pine, mulberry and lime-blossom trees. All pitches have electricity and water.
There are 24 air-conditioned, chalet-style mobile homes available to rent with a minimum stay requirement of just two nights. On-site amenities include a large swimming pool, a twin-track water slide and a convivial bar (with TV for sports events). There are superb views all around the site across the surrounding vineyards to Mont Ventoux and the Montagnes de la Lance.
Grillon makes up a part of the Enclave des Papes, one of four towns bought by the Avignon popes in the 14th century (probably because they liked the wine so much!).
It is now a sleepy Provençal village, with an historic centre (Vialle) established by the Knights Templar. Nearby, Valréas was the most important of the four towns and still boasts some fine 12th-century architecture, including its Notre Dame de Nazareth church.

Central sanitary block is heated and has excellent, modern facilities, including accessible facilities. Family shower rooms. Small shop. Bar/snack bar (May-Sept). Takeaway (July/Aug). Swimming pool. Slides. Paddling pool. Play area. TV room. Mobile homes and chalets to rent. WiFi.
Location
Approaching from the north (Lyon), leave A7 autoroute at exit 18 (Montélimar Sud) and head south on N7, D133 and D641 to Grignan. Bypass this town and continue (on D641) to Grillon. The site is well signed from here.
