Camping Le Clos Don Jean is in Menthon-Saint-Bernard, Haute-Savoie. A family run business whose staff are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. It is a good value, gently sloping site but most pitches are reasonable. The site has excellent access to Lake Annecy. Good access around site with a mix of tarmac and gravelled roads. Fields on two sides and the site is very quiet. Clear view through to the impressive local Chateau which is well worth a visit. The lake is a 10/15-minute walk downhill with plenty of free parking. A baker visits most days and on two evenings pizza style caterers visit with excellent choices and quality of food. The site has 55 grassy touring pitches with 6/3-amp hook-up point and 9 mobile homes available to hire.
