Le Clos Cottet is an attractive family site, based around an old Vendéen farm. This is a lively site in high season with activities for children and the whole family, including regular discos and karaoke evenings, as well as many sports tournaments. There are 195 pitches here, all of which have reasonable shade. Many of them are occupied by mobile homes and chalets, but 70 are available for touring, all with electricity (10A). In high season (July and August) a free shuttle bus service runs to the nearest beach (6 km). On site, a fine swimming pool complex provides a large outdoor pool with water slides and a heated indoor pool, plus a sauna and Hammam.

Angles is a pretty village with a good range of shops and restaurants. Les Sables-d’Olonne lies to the northwest and is a stylish resort with a long sandy beach and a popular zoo. The Vendée offers a wide variety of well-documented tourist attractions, whilst days out could include a trip to the impressive historical theme park, Le Puy du Fou, or in complete contrast, a leisurely punt along the shaded waterways of the Marais Poitevin (La Venise Verte).

From A87 Cholet/La Roche-sur-Yon leave at exit 32 for La Tranche-sur-Mer and follow D747 towards La Tranche. Site is south of Angles and is well signed to the right.
