Alan Rogers Review of Camping la Vologne
Lac de Longemer, in the heart of the Vosges massif, lies south of Xonrupt-Longemer. A short walk from the southern end of the lake, the site is suited to those wanting a quiet, simple, inexpensive campsite with good basic facilities. There are 100 grassy pitches of which 95 are for touring units, some of which are quite large. All have electricity (2/5A) although long leads may be required in some places. They lie either side of a babbling stream which can be fished for trout. There are many signed walks and cycle tracks in the surrounding hills with direct access to some of them.

Two modern toilet blocks provide all necessary facilities including accessible facilities, children and babies. Laundry facilities. Small shop. Gas supplies. Games and TV room. Playground. Playing field. Boules. Trampoline. Badminton. Small stream, ideal for young children.
Directions to Camping la Vologne
Xonrupt-Longemer is on the D417, 5 km. east of Gérardmer and 46 km. west of Colmar. Take D67 or D67A, which run southeast on either side of the lake. Just after junction of these roads, the site is on the right at the eastern end of the lake.
