Alan Rogers Review of Camping la Vallée de Deauville
This large, modern site is close to the traditional seaside resorts of Deauville and Trouville. With a total of 450 pitches, there are many mobile homes, both to rent and privately owned, and 150 for touring units (including a 70-pitch tent field). The main pitches are level, of a reasonable size and mostly hedged, 80 have 10A electricity.
A recent swimming pool complex with flumes, lazy river, jacuzzi and fun pool makes an attractive focal point near the entrance and a large fishing lake. The bar and restaurant are large and comfortable, and a shop is on-site.
Several of the World War Two Normandy landing beaches are easily accessible from the site and the well equipped reception area holds plenty of information on these. Markets are plentiful and the area is well served by public transport and a bus stops just by the gate en route to Trouville and Deauville, where you can enjoy the vast expanse of beach or perhaps rub shoulders with a celebrity or two. The wide sandy beaches of this coast are 3 km. away. This site is a good choice in the Deauville and Caen area.

Two heated toilet blocks with showers and washbasins in cubicles. Good facilities for babies and accessible sanitary facilities. Laundry facilities. Small shop. Bar and restaurant. Takeaway. Outdoor heated swimming pool complex (high season). Modern spa. Good play area and games room. New multisports court. Bicycle hire. Entertainment in high season. WiFi (charged).
Directions to Camping la Vallée de Deauville
From the A13 at Pont l’Eveque join the N177 (Deauville/Trouville) and after 9 km. take D27 signed St Arnoult. Site is well signed on edge of village.
