Situated in a ten-hectare wooded park some 24 km. from Lyon, and bordering the Ain and Rhône rivers, Domaine la Regière occupies a unique position between the city and the countryside. It is ideally placed for discovering the cultural and tourist sites of the Isère. There are 189 chalets, with 35 pitches for touring set on two unmarked areas without shade. Around a third have access to 8A electricity. There is plenty to do on this family-friendly site - a water park with outdoor pools, plus a covered heated pool, lagoon pool and Jacuzzi which are open all year. The surrounding countryside is ideal for hiking and nature activities.

Facilities at Camping la Regnière

One basic sanitary block with four toilets and two showers. Maintenance appeared variable at the time of our visit. One room with accessible facilities with shower, basin and WC. Dishwashing in sanitary block. Launderette. Restaurant and snack bar. Outdoor swimming pool and indoor pool with paddling pool, small slide, sauna and steam room (April-Oct, no Bermuda shorts). Playground and bouncy castle. Pétanque. Tennis courts. Basketball and volleyball. Badminton. Mobile homes, cottages and tree houses to rent. Children’s club (5-11 yrs, July/Aug). WiFi (free in reception).

Take the A6 to Lyon then the A46 towards Aéroport Lyon-St Exupéry and Genève, A42. Take exit 5 (St Maurice de Beynost) towards Villette d’Anthon.
