Camping La Pineta is a lovely small campsite run by the delightful couple, Tziania and Guliano Carraeoi, who live on-site. The touring pitches are level and clean, equipped with 6A electricity connections, and are shaded by pine and eucalyptus trees. The beautiful beach is 400 m. walk alongside a safe river complete with waterbirds. The pretty restaurant, bar/café, pizzeria and mini market offer a great choice of fare.

La Pineta gives excellent value for money, and if you enjoy cosy sites where you are treated as a friend, this will be a little piece of heaven for you. In a quiet, rural location, this would make a good base for exploring the varied coastline and Saracen towers. Much information is provided by the staff, and they will assist with ferry bookings.

A short distance inland, you are in the mountainous areas with a multitude of geologically interesting natural formations. Many places can be reached by foot, by mountain bike or even on horseback. The nearby little green steam train will take you through some stunning scenery.

Directions to Camping La Pineta

Camping La Pineta is 80 km. northeast of Cagliari. From Cagliari take SS125 towards Olbia. Just after Tertenia follow signs to Bari Sardo. On entering Bari Sardo follow signs on right to site in 3 km.
