You will receive a warm welcome upon arrival at Camping la Parée Préneau. It has been gradually and thoughtfully expanded to its present size (206 pitches). Of these, 130 are touring pitches of varying shapes and sizes, arranged over two levels. Mature trees proliferate to give varying amounts of shade and all pitches are reasonably level. All have electricity (6A) and many also have water. The calm atmosphere is enhanced by the absence of tour operators.
Facilities
The two sanitary blocks include washbasins (some in cubicles), facilities for babies and accessible facilities. Toilets are a mix of British, seatless and squat style. Laundry facilities. Bread, milk and other essentials available. Bar with TV. Mobile takeaway (5/7-28/8). Heated indoor and outdoor pools with jacuzzi and paddling pool (high season). Play area. Football, volleyball, basketball. Bicycle hire. Not suitable for American motorhomes (max unit size 7 m).
Location
From roundabout on D38/D38 bis, at junction with D59 (north of St Hilaire-de-Riez), turn south (St Hilaire) for 400 m. First exit at next roundabout (Les Plages) and continue straight along Ave. de la Faye and into Ave. de la Parée Preneau (3.5 km). Site is on left. (A local map is advisable).
