La Grisière has lovely views over the lake, but it is a very large and open site. Many pitches are in back to back rows on quite a steep sideways slope with little shade, no hedges or pitch dividers. Pitches are only 90 sq.m. in size and in peak season units could be quite close together. With only 18 chalets to rent, there should be around 530 pitches for touring units, but only 450 have electricity hook-ups (10A). Of the five toilet blocks only one is relatively near the lakeside and some pitches have quite a trek either across the site or uphill to the facilities.

Other than the shop, the amenities are only opened for July and August. The main on site activities are water based with lake swimming, non-motorised boating, windsurfing, canoeing etc (bring your own or hire). Very little in the way of on-site organised activities is offered, just occasional wine or local produce tastings.

Facilities at Camping la Grisière

Five sanitary blocks of varying styles are good, several have been refurbished or had newer extensions added. Washbasins in cubicles. Baby room. Excellent accessible facilities, a Motorhome services. Washing machines and dryers. Shop (15/5-15/9). Bar, restaurant and takeaway (July/Aug). Outdoor swimming pool, Lake swimming, Playground. Bicycle hire. Watersports and fishing. Kid Club, Entertainment, multisport pitch, American RVs not accepted. WiFi (around bar).
