La Grand Terre is a large campsite offering a comprehensive range of facilities for its visitors. It has 296 pitches (127 for tourers) which are set out in back-to-back rows with plenty of shade. One camping area is particularly shaded. A large modern building housing reception and the bar/restaurant area is located at the front of the site with an attractive aquatic complex immediately to the rear. The large parking area at the entrance makes check-in and departure easy. Large outfits may find access to some of the pitches difficult (some narrow roads and overhanging branches) so arrive early in high season.

The site has a wide range of sporting facilities as well as direct river access for fishing (permit required) and river swimming. A full animation programme is organised for children in high season. There are also a number of mobile homes for rent.

Four sanitary blocks offer reasonable facilities, but perhaps a long walk from a few locations. Accessible facilities, Water points are limited. Laundry. Ironing service. Shop (from 06 Apr). Bar (from 06 Apr). Restaurant and fast food service (from 6 Apr). Aquatic complex with 2 heated outdoor pools, paddling pool, 2 waterslides, Jacuzzi and aqua games (06/04 - 09/09). Playground. Tennis. Multisport court, Yoga, Billiards Petanque. Kids and Teen clubs, Entertainment, TV and games room. Outdoor cinema. Internet access. Gas. Bike rental. Fishing. Charcoal barbecues are not allowed. Useful torches in some areas. Petts allowed.

Directions to Camping la Grand Terre

On D579 pass through Ruoms and at roundabout take first exit onto D111 following Bis Montpellier signs. Turn left 500 m. from roundabout at site sign. Drive past house on entrance road and site is at end of road 600 m. ahead.
