Camping La Giroflée is a family-friendly campsite in Bourcefranc-le-Chapus, southwestern France. From the site entrance, you can wall across the road, down six steps, and you are on the beach. A sailing school is next door, where you can get stuck in various water sports activities. Sea-view cycle rides are all around, too, on the Vélodysée bike path, which stretches for 1200 kilometres along the country’s Atlantic coastline. The campsite has 159 grass pitches, of which 122 are for touring units, and has a 16/10-amp hook-up point. 35 seasonal, and there are two lodge tents available to hire. This site has friendly reception staff who speak good English. It is an elongated site with two toilet blocks. So, when determining your location, look at where these buildings are located.
Explore Fort Louvois, an impressive 17th-century sea fort located on a rocky outcrop just off the coast of Bourcefranc-le-Chapus. You can take a guided tour of the fort to learn about its history or simply wander around the ramparts and enjoy the views.
Visit the Old Town of Chapus, which is a charming district of Bourcefranc-le-Chapus with narrow streets, traditional houses, and a small harbour. It's a great place to take a stroll and soak up the atmosphere.

Directions to Camping La Giroflée
Fron the A10/E5 junction 35 at Saintes join the D137 then the D728 to Nancres, Saint-Jus-Luzac and at Mcdonald’s roundabout at Marennes continue on the D728. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto D26. At the next roundabout take the last exit onto Petit Marecareil. Continue onto Fief de Bonnemort and the site is on the left off this road
