Camping la Garrigue is a quiet, friendly, family-run site on the outskirts of Loubressac, one of the most beautiful villages in France. The village is perched on a promontory that offers wonderful views over the Dordogne valley with the River Dordogne close by. The site has 50 pitches with 29 reasonably level, on grass for touring, all with 6/10A electricity. Some are separated by hedges with mature trees giving varying amounts of shade. This well run site is ideal for couples and families with small children seeking to holiday in wonderful surroundings.
For more active families there are many marked walks and cycle routes, also numerous water and other sports on or near the river. The village of Loubressac has charming medieval houses built of ochre stone and capped with pointed roofs. Close by are many other beautiful villages well worth exploring. Other attractions include the wonderful caves at Gouffre de Padirac and Rocamadour, a village perched on the side of a cliff, with its spectacular son et lumiere show.
