This is an excellent little site which provides 80 grass pitches for touring units, some individual with tall hedges, others more open but there is shade in most areas. All have 6A electricity. There are 13 mobile homes to rent in one corner of the site. Behind the reception building is a small well fenced swimming pool (16m x 7m), a covered terrace and a bar with takeaways. Here regular welcome events are held for new arrivals (wine tasting, local farm products, etc). The local Super U hypermarket is just 500 m. level walk from the site.

Aizenay has an annual music festival in June and the church is definitely worth a visit to see the gold processional cross dating from 1622. In the Forest of Aizenay you should be able to find the immense crater created by a B17 bomber, ‘Big Red’, which crashed on 27 March 1944. In nearby Poire-sur-Vie (9 km) you will find a farmers’ market on the third Sunday each month with everything from escargots to duck, honey and goats cheese, plus cakes, breads and wine.

Two toilet blocks, perfectly acceptable and clean but the facilities are a little dated. Washing machines and dryers. Motorhome services. Bar. Takeaway. Outdoor swimming pool (8/6-8/9). Small play area. Bicycle hire. WiFi in bar area.

Aizenay is midway between Challans and La Roche-sur-Yon. Site is southeast of the town centre on D948 towards La Roche-sur-Yon. Turn at roundabout opposite ‘Centre Commercial’.
