There are many campsites at Le Bourg-d’Oisans, but La Ferme Noémie offers something quite different from the rest. This is a tiny site with just 16 touring pitches recently been created by an English couple, Jeremy and Melanie Smith. Although there are no leisure amenities on-site, the camping area is very comfortable with large, grassy pitches, all with 16A electrical connections. Given that the site is relatively new, there is little shade. The toilet block is bright and attractive and forms part of the main structure, a converted barn, which houses several apartments.

Winter activities surround the campsite. The vast ski area of Alpe d'Huez/Oz Vaujany/ Auris is accessible via the new gondola five minutes by car from Ferme Noemie, which now offers a free shuttle bus.
Try dog sledging, cross country skiing, snowshoe walking, ski jogging; the list is endless….
Summer activities include road biking (on the campsites door step is the Col de Glandon/ Galibier/Croix de Fer/Alpe d'Huez/Col d'Ornon/ Sarenne)

This is, of course, an area of outstanding mountain scenery and l’Alpe d’Huez, one of the Tour de France’s most feared ascents is just a 30 minute drive away. The site owners have lived in the area for many years and are keen to share their experience with their guests. A wide variety of activities are on offer locally including canoeing, rafting and mountain biking.

Directions to Camping la Ferme Noémie

Head south from Grenoble initially on the N85 and then joining the N91 following signs to Le Bourg-d’Oisans. Site is well signed to the right shortly after passing through the hamlet of Rochetaillée and 3 km. before reaching Le Bourg-d’Oisans.
