Camping la Civelle is in the seaside resort town of Capbreton in the Aquitaine region of the south of France. This stretch of Landes coastline is a water sports haven; the beaches at Capbreton, Hossegor and Seignosse (all within 15 15-minute drive) are a World Surfing League Championship tour hotspot. If surfing is not something you are willing to give a go, there are plenty of other water sports to get involved in, including jet skiing, paddle boarding, and boating. The Capbreton beaches are also top spots for walking, building sandcastles, swimming, and lazing in the sun.

The Site has 480 grass pitches of which 270 are for touring units and have a 10-amp hook-up point, 210 seasonal pitches and three mobile homes available to hire. For a more laid-back day, you can enjoy the facilities that the campsite has to offer. There is an onsite swimming pool, a multi-sports field to delight sports enthusiasts, a children's playground and an entertainment room. The campsite also has a small shop selling the essentials needed to cook at the communal bbq area and there is also a newly renovated restaurant serving traditional French and European dishes and fresh seafood dishes. There is also a shuttle bus which runs regularly from the site to get to the surrounding beaches and Capbreton.

Directions to Camping la Civelle

From the A63/E70 Bordeaux–Biarritz take exit 8 and join the D28 to Capbreton. At the roundabout junction turn left to join the D152. At the junction with the D652 bear right and follow site signs.
