Alan Rogers Review of Camping la Cigaline
La Cigaline is located in Montpon-Ménestérol in the Perigord region of France. There are 120 pitches, of which 112 are used for touring pitches, all with electricity (10A) and most with partial shade and separated by well established hedges. Three mobile homes and two bungalow tents are available to rent. The beautiful river Isle runs through the site, which is within walking distance of the town with its many amenities. Within walking distance there is a large, tree lined recreational park with a man-made river beach for swimming and paddling.
You will also be able to enjoy the river for boating and fishing. This site is ideal for a quiet relaxing holiday, where you will receive a warm welcome from the staff who go out of their way to ensure your stay is a comfortable one.
Facilities at Camping la Cigaline
Two sanitary blocks were reasonably clean at the time of our visit, and adequate for the number of pitches. En-suite accessible facilities. Laundry area with washing machine. Bread ordering service, ice cream and cold drinks vending machine. Bar and snack bar with TV. Small play area. Boules. Fishing. Canoe and bicycle hire. WiFi (free).
Directions to Camping la Cigaline
From N89 (Périgueux-Bordeaux) exit 12, head north to Montpon-Ménestérol on the D708. Look for signs to site, which is just over the river bridge. Entrance to site is on a sharp steep bend to the right.
