A shaded, neat and tidy haven just off the main square within easy walking distance of the beach. There is a super pool complex at the far end of the site including a heated pool with sliding cover for early and late seasons, a large outdoor pool and various other small pools with slides, and a jacuzzi. Most of the sandy, grass pitches are 100 sq. m. regularly laid out with 6A electricity with hedging and shade from tall trees. The site is under the same ownership as Les Criques de Porteils near Collioure, and is popular with tour operators.

Argelès can be somewhat hectic in season with lots going on. The site itself has a bread shop which also offers some snack type meals such as pizzas. A small bar operates by the pool in high season and another, beside the gym, opens in the evenings. As well as tour operator pitches the site has its own mobile homes to rent. All shops are within very easy reach, just outside the site. This does mean that there could be some night time noise at busy times and choosing a pitch at the back of the site might be a good idea.
