Camping La Chanoie is located in Pontailler-sur-Saône, in the Burgundy-Franche-Comté region of France. It is situated in a natural setting, 6 hectares in size, on the banks of the Saône River. The campsite offers a variety of accommodation options, including 154 touring hitches with 6/16-amp electric hook-up points available and three accommodation options available to rent. The best pitches are located right by the river, and you can wake u to great views every morning and enjoy being able to take a refreshing swim.

The river is the highlight of this campsite, with plenty of sporting activities available nearby, such as kayaking and paddle boarding, perfect for exploring the surrounding area via the water. There is also a boat park nearby, and you could try your hand at water skiing. The Campsite has a restaurant, bar, and bread service during the summer months, meaning you don't have to leave the site if you are feeling peckish. There is also a playground for the younger children to enjoy while staying here, and the older ones can run around in the open areas and kick a ball around. Is is a short walk into Pontailler-sur-Saône which has a charming town centre with a traditional market, historical churches, and quaint cafes. You can also visit the Musée Municipal de Pontailler-sur-Saône, which houses a collection of Gallo-Roman artefacts and local history exhibits.

Directions to Camping La Chanoie

From the A36 junction 2 join the D475 towards Moissey and Pesmes. Before you reach Pesmes turn left onto the D459. At Cléry continue ahead on the D959. At the Soane River bridge at Pontailler-sur-Saone turn right before the bridge. Follow site signs.
