An excellent, beautifully landscaped site La Bretèche is also good value. There are 162 pitches all on grass, divided into a touring area of 122 pitches (10A electricity) and accommodation areas with 24 chalets, 12 bungalows and four eco-lodges all available to rent. It is a good base from which to visit the spectacular Puy du Fou Grand Park (about 3 km). Activities and entertainment are organised on the site in season. The adjacent outdoor municipal pool is heated and supervised (free access for campers).

This is our closest site to Le Grand Parc Puy du Fou with its Roman, Viking and Medieval re-enactments. See the spectacular Cinescenie, the biggest stage in the world with its extravagant technical effects, sound and light history shows with over 1000 actors, also annual fireworks displays. Note: On Cinescenie days vehicles can access the campsite until 01.30 am. This is an excellent site for tent campers as during June, July and August breakfasts are also served (book the day before). A baker calls mornings from June onwards.

Facilities at Camping la Bretèche

One large modern toilet block, well equipped with seated WCs, washbasins in cubicles, facilities for babies and accessible facilities. Laundry. Motorhome services. Bar/restaurant with TV and takeaway (daily June-Aug, otherwise weekends and holidays). Activities in season include karaoke and concerts, speciality food evenings, archery, canoeing, mountain biking, boules. Free aquagym classes. Playground. Board games on loan from reception. Barrier card deposit € 10. Free WiFi at entrance.
