Camping Kratzmühle is an all-year site in the heart of Bavaria, in the Altmühltal Nature Park. The site has 430 grass/hardstanding pitches, of which 210 are for touring units and have 16-amp hook-up points available. Private bathrooms are also available to hire during your stay. There are also two bungalows/chalets available to hire. You are not short of facilities available at the campsite to enjoy your stay here. There is a mini market, a restaurant with a beer garden serving regional cuisine, and a massage room for those who wish to relax and unwind. Several sporting options are available for the younger guests, including a large children's playground with a volleyball court, table tennis tables, a football pitch, table football and a miniature golf course. Just a few minutes' walk away, there is a lake with a two km-long beach ideal for swimming, sunbathing and boating.

Camping Kratzmühle is also a good starting point for exploring the many attractions of the Naturpark Altmühltal, and the campsite offers bicycle hire to explore the region at your own pace. Many places of interest are nearby, such as the medieval town of Eichstätt, the Altmühltal Panoramaweg hiking trail, and the Keltenmuseum Manching archaeological museum.

Directions to Camping Kratzmühle

From the A9 motorway Munich – Nuremberg, leave the at junction 58 (Altmühltal) and join the St2230 in the direction of Beilngries. After approx. 4 km. on the right-hand side, you will find the Kratzmühle recreation centre and the site.
