Alan Rogers Review
Camping Kiel Falckenstein is located in the middle of a protected landscape. From the terrace you have a wonderful view of the Kiel Fjord where you can watch the boat traffic on the fjord. This is so interesting not only because of the daily incoming and outgoing modern cruise ferries to Oslo and Gothenburg, but also because of the many dream ships that call at Kiel more and more often as a starting and destination port. On one area of the site is a tent meadow divided by hedges, on another there are pitches for caravans and motorhomes. Electric hook-up points 16 amp are available on most of the pitches.
There are shops in the district of Kiel-Friedrichsort, which is about 4 km away, or in Kiel-Schilksee. All well-known supermarkets and discounters are represented here. You can reach the city centre either by bus (walk about 15 minutes to the stop) or by boat (walk to the next pier about 15 minutes, but don’t forget to bring a bicycle. The possibilities to go on bike tours are as diverse as they are fantastically beautiful. The site has a total of 175 pitches, 60 for touring units.
