Alan Rogers Review of Camping Hygge Strand
This region of Jutland is deservedly well known for the splendid white beaches that shelve gradually down into the sea. This campsite is just 100 metres from such a beach and, being a Blue Flag beach; it's a good choice for a family holiday. Children will love to splash and jump off the small jetty. This site may particularly appeal to families with younger children, with many attractive play facilities, both indoors and outdoors. The surrounding countryside is peaceful and rural, with quiet country lanes being ideal for walking and cycling.
Arhus, the second city of Denmark, is 30 km. to the north and has great interest, especially around the charming old town and Latin Quarter. This is also a great place from which to make a boat trip to Copenhagen. To the south, Horsens has a large indoor pool complex and a fascinating industrial museum.

Pitches are grassy and level, mostly open but dotted with mature trees and demarcated with hedging. Supermarket (High season). Snack bar. Takeaway (High season). Fresh bread. Swimming from beach. Playground. Entertainment in high season. TV room (all big sporting events). Table tennis. BBQ area. Multi sports field.
Directions to Camping Hygge Strand
Follow the northbound E45 towards Arhus. Leave this road at Skanderborg and drive to Odder (15 km). Site is well signed in the village.
