Camping Hoeve aan den Weg is in the centre of the Het Drents-Friese Wold National Park. This is a varied nature reserve with moorland, small lakes and long strips of woodland. This campsite has 250 pitches (100 for tourers), all with 6A electricity, and a further ten with water and drainage. Pitching is on attractive, level grass fields, off gravel access lanes (which can become dusty), each taking 6-10 units. The pitches are up to 140 sq.m. in size and separated by low hedges with some shade from mature trees. On site is an octagonal-shaped, open-air pool with paddling pool and grassy sunbathing area.

The site is divided by a hardcore lane. One side accommodates static units, the other is for touring units with some landscaping and different varieties of trees and bushes. To the front of the site is a welcoming bar/restaurant with an open-air terrace and snack bar. This area is famous for its extensive opportunities for walking, biking and riding through beautiful surroundings. The village of Diever is only a few kilometres from the site. Some road noise can be heard.

Directions to Camping Hoeve aan den Weg

On A28, take exit 31 (Westerbork) and continue on N381 towards Drachten. At Hoogersmilde, turn south onto N371 towards Meppel. Follow through Diever and site is signed in centre of Diever.
