Camping Het Wieskamp Winterswijk is a quiet and luxurious campsite, located between two streams in the eastern section of the Achterhoek. There are two camping fields with a total of just 28 touring pitches, all with private sanitary units, TV and Internet connections and 16A electricity. The first field, Esch, has just six pitches, and is well shaded by mature trees and shrubs. The second field, Waliën, is sunnier and hosts 22 pitches, including two hardstandings for mobile homes. There is an excellent restaurant, which attracts many visitors from far and wide. The prevailing ambience is relaxed, with a play area for children on the terrace. The remainder of the large site is occupied by 273 permanent summer homes, 15 of which are to rent.

There is a spacious indoor playground for children (under 12 years) and this is open every day from 9.00 am until 9.00 pm. A further large playground can be found outdoors. One of the main attractions is a modern, six-lane bowling alley, used daily by local and visiting teams. The nearest town, Winterswijk, is a pleasant place for a stroll, and has an old town centre. Its history is coloured by its proximity to the German border.

Directions to Camping Het Wieskamp Winterswijk

Approaching from the west (Arnhem) use A12, A18 and N318 as far as Winterswijk. At Winterswijk take the road to Vreden (Germany) and follow signs to site (2 km).
