Well placed for visiting Brussels, this is a popular little site with a friendly atmosphere. Camping Grimbergen has 90 pitches on fairly level grass, of which around 50 have 10A electricity. Some pitches are on the small side and the site is not suitable for larger units, although some hardstandings for motorhomes have been added.
The municipal sports facilities are adjacent. The bus station is by the traffic lights at the junction of N202 and N211 and buses run into the city centre every hour, 200 m. from the site, excluding Sunday mornings.
There are limited facilities on the site, but there is a selection of restaurants available in the town. In Grimbergen itself visit Norbertine Abbey, Saint Servaas church, and the Sunday morning market. Also worth a visit are the nearby towns of Lier and Mechelen, and the botanical gardens at Meise.

Immaculate modern sanitary facilities are heated in colder months. Separate accessible sanitary facilities. Baby room. Washing machine & dryers. Motorhome services. Bar (July/Aug). Pets allowed (1 on a lead)
Directions to Camping Grimbergen
From Brussels ring road take exit 7 (N202) to Grimbergen. After 2.5 km, turn right at traffic lights on N211 towards Vilvoorde (site signed), then left at second set of lights (slight oblique turn). Site entrance is on right in 500 m. (watch for blue and white Lammekenshoeve sign).
