Camping Gamp is a family run site situated in the picturesque Isarco valley in the mountainous, Südtirol region of northern Italy. It is well sited for a stopover near the Brenner-Modena A22 motorway, so traffic noise is to be expected. It is also an ideal base from which to explore the mountains, villages and valleys of this attractive region. There are 80 pitches with full services including TV and Internet connections (electricity is 6/10A). The site is landscaped with some shade from trees. Above the pitches is an associated Gasthof with a pleasant bar and terrace where campers can enjoy a drink and a snack or a restaurant meal.

Across the valley from the site is a tree clad hill rising to a cliff, topped by a picturesque convent. There are numerous waymarked tracks to delight walkers and mountain bikers. Back on site the amenities are modern and equipped to a high standard. Camping Gamp is open all year and is well located for winter sports holidays.

Hot water to Motorhome overnight area with service point. Restaurant with takeaway, shop (April-Oct). Bar (April-Dec). Small pool. Play area. Music and dancing.

Directions to Camping Gamp

Klausen/Chiusa is 40 km. northeast of Bolzano. Camping Gamp is only 800 m. away from the A22 motorway (Brenner-Verona). Take exit for Klausen/Grödental, turn left and then right in 700 m. Site is well signed.
