This site lies in the rolling wooded hills of central Luxembourg, not far from the lakes of the Sûre river dam. Of around 400 pitches, 220 of varying sizes are for touring units, all with a 6/16A electricity connection. There are some super pitches with private electricity and water.

The site consists of winding roads, some sloping, along which the pitches are set in shaded areas. The touring area (separate from the chalets and seasonal pitches) is well equipped with modern facilities, but with very little provision for visitors with disabilities.

Children who visit Fuussekaul (the name means fox hole) won’t want to leave as there is so much for them to do. There is a fun pool, a paddling pool, exciting play areas, and an entertainment programme for all ages, including popular tractor rides.

On the opposite side of the road (pedestrian access via an under-road passage) is Camping Reenert, a naturist site owned by the same people and permitted to use the Fuussekaul facilities. Also across the road is a service and parking area for motorhomes. Each pitch has a hook-up, fresh water tap and waste water disposal point. There is also a supermarket with daily fresh bread, a shop for campers, fitness centre, wellness centre and hairdresser.

Excellent sanitary blocks provide showers (token), washbasins (in cabins and communal) and children and baby rooms with small toilets, washbasins and showers. Accessible facilities, Laundry. Parking and service area for motorhomes. Well stocked shop. Bar. Restaurant and takeaway. Swimming pool (seasonal). Beauty salon. Playgrounds. Cross-country skiing when snow permits. Bicycle hire. Children’s club. WiFi over most of site (charged).

Take N15 from Diekirch to Heiderscheid. Site is on left at top of hill just before reaching the village. Motorhome service area is signed on the right.
