Camping Dun-le-Palestel is a small, family-friendly campsite located on the edge of a village in the Creuse department of the Limousin region, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France. It's a peaceful campsite with stunning views of the surrounding countryside and offers a relaxing atmosphere for campers of all ages. The site has 50 grass pitches, of which 36 are for touring units and have a 16/10-amp hook-up point. There are also nine mobile homes and lodge tents available to hire. Reservation is recommended here as it is quite a popular campsite to stay at during the high season.

On-site, you can find a lovely swimming pool perfect for cooling off on a hot day. The pool is surrounded by sun loungers, so you can relax and soak up the sun after a dip.There's an on-site snack bar where you can buy refreshments, snacks, and ice cream. They also offer takeaway pizzas, which can be delivered directly to your pitch, which is perfect if you want a lazy evening meal. The campsite's cosy bistro hosts parties at least six nights a week. It's worth looking at the reception schedule to find out when their live music nights are and when they hold their weekly BBQ buffet night. There is also a children's playground with a trampoline and sandpit. There is also a table tennis table for the older ones to enjoy. This area is excellent for kids to let off steam and make new friends.

The campsite is located in a beautiful part of France, with plenty of opportunities for hiking and cycling. There are also several charming villages and towns nearby that are worth exploring.
For those that are bringing their furry friends with them, there is a stretch of forest nearby perfect for them to be able to let off some steam and run around.

Directions to Camping Dun-le-Palestel

From the A20 at junction 23 join the N145 towards Saint-Maurice-la-Souterraine and La-Souterraine. At junction 54 La-Souterraine join the D951 towards Colondannes and Dun-le-Palestel. At Dun-le-Palestel near the Marie turn left onto the D913 follow camping signs and the site is on the right off this road.
