Camping du Tromeur is situated on a rather remote part of the northwest coast of Brittany. This is a municipal campsite just outside the coastal village of Lanildut. Like most municipal sites, the reception office is only open 08.30-09.30 in the morning and 18.30–19.30 in the evening. The pitches are small and arranged in groups of four or six with no dividing hedges. The site is clean and well cared for with many flowering shrubs. The village and port of Lanildut is 500 m. away via a footpath from the site. The area is very quiet and would be suitable for those looking for a peaceful holiday. There are 4 mobile homes and 2 chalets to rent.

This part of Brittany is popular with walkers. A limited bus service (4 a day) from the village of Lanildut visits many of the villages and the small towns of Ploudalmezeau and Saint Renan before arriving at the large town of Brest. Here you will find the large famous naval and commercial port. A good motorway will take you south to the resorts of Douarnenez and Pont-l’Abbé.

Directions to Camping du Tromeur

Approaching from the northwest and Brest take the D5 to St Renan. Then take D27 to Lanildut. The site is well signed from the village.
