Alan Rogers Review of Camping du Tertre
This medium sized site is situated near the lakes of the Parc l’Orient, 40 km. east of Troyes in the Champagne-Ardenne region. You will receive a warm welcome at this family owned site and some English is spoken. Of the 156 pitches, 113 are for touring units. Laid out in groups of four to six, with dividing hedges and ornamental trees providing shade, all the pitches have 10A electricity and water nearby. The small reception is part of the bar/restaurant and is modern and well kept. Adjacent to this building are the swimming pools, which are enclosed with fencing.
The great attraction here is the lakes, the nearest (only 200 m.) is specifically for motor-based watersports, while the other two cater for wind-based sports and wildlife.
Facilities at Camping du Tertre
Three small sanitary blocks provide basic facilities. Washing machine in each. Bar/restaurant (open July/Aug and during reception hours). Play area (unfenced). Heated outdoor pool and small paddling pool (1/5-30/9) with large paved terrace. TV.
Directions to Camping du Tertre
From A5 exit 22, head north via Vendeuvre-sur-Barse to Dienville. Cross first roundabout at harbour for Lac Amance and site is immediately on right.
