This is a delightful campsite, which has been run by a friendly outgoing family for several years. Beside the Ardèche river, the site has a small sandy beach and a deep river pool for swimming. There are 80 average sized, grassy pitches with 61 for touring (10A electricity), all separated by hedges and trees giving good shade. The welcoming bar, restaurant, takeaway and pool are all located close to reception and open all season. Family activities are organised in July and August. The site is ideal for those seeking a less commercialised site close to the Ardèche Gorges.

The site is tucked away in the village of Pradons, just off the main road so it is quiet and peaceful. The local cliffs are renowned for rock climbing and the cheerful site owners are happy to advise on opportunities to try out the climbing, as well as the many other activities possible in this area.

The good toilet block provides separate facilities for men and ladies, an excellent room for children and accessible facilities. Small shop. Bar, restaurant, snacks and takeaway. Heated swimming and paddling pools (1/4-21/9). Games/TV room. Play areas. Small sandy river beach, deep pool for swimming. Fishing. Canoe trips. Organised walks from site. WiFi. Charcoal barbecues are not allowed.

Directions to Camping du Pont

Leave Montélimar westwards on N102 towards Aubenas. Passing Villeneuve-de-Berg, turn left on D103 towards Vogüé for 5 km. Turn left on D579 towards Ruoms. In Pradons turn right D308, signed Chauzon. Site shortly on left before river bridge.
