This good value, small site, conveniently situated on one of the main north-south routes on the edge of the interesting old town of Clisson, in the middle of the wine growing region, was completely renovated in 2013. There are 50 good sized, marked and level pitches with electricity, divided by floral hedges and trees, plus six individual motorhome pitches and five chalets to rent. There is also an unmarked, wooded area for small tents. A barbecue and campfire area is to the rear of the site above the river where one can fish or canoe (via a steep path).
The attractive medieval town is within walking distance, whilst the better known Loire towns of Saumur and Angers are around an hour’s drive away. Although the site is small, on the edge of town and by busy roads, it feels tranquil and rural, integrating the modern and the timeless; large supermarkets are on one side, and peaceful woods and grass terraces with recliners on the other. The site is carefully laid out with floral pathways and attractive bushes and shrubs and much evidence of new planting. Similarly, the service buildings are sympathetically in keeping with the natural environment.
Facilities
The fully equipped and newly renovated sanitary facilities, cleaned each afternoon, include some washbasins in cabins and others in a separate large room, with hot and cold water. Accessible Unit. Excursions and entertainment (July/Aug). WiFi over site (free).

From N249 Nantes-Cholet road, take exit for Vallet/Clisson and D763 south for 7 km. then fork right towards Clisson town centre. At roundabout after passing Leclerc supermarket on your right take second exit (into site).
