This site will appeal to those who prefer a quiet place to stay away from the noise and bustle of busier sites. In the grounds of an old Breton house and arranged on terraces up the steep sides of a valley, the site has a picturesque, garden-like quality. There are 105 pitches, of which about half are for touring units (the remainder are used for mobile homes). Pitches vary in size (80-100 sq.m) and some are accessed by steep slopes, but all are on flat, grassy terraces, with low hedging and all have electricity (6/10A), water and drainage. The campsite is open for a long season and its location in the village of La Forêt-Fouesnant makes it popular with those camping by bicycle, motorbike or in a motorhome.
La Forêt-Fouesnant is a typical Breton village with a picturesque inlet leading to a large and busy marina. Shops, bars and restaurants are all within a short stroll of the campsite. Events take place in an open air theatre during the summer months. A lively market is held every Sunday morning. A short journey by car will take you to a choice of supermarkets and the old seaport of Concarneau.
