Alan Rogers Review of Camping du Lac (Taupont)
Located alongside the beautiful Lac au Duc and opposite a large attractive public park, this site is perfectly situated for those looking for a watersports holiday. Moreover, this is a lovely part of Brittany and it is well worth exploring the local area. Nearly all of the 150 pitches are for touring and are of good size with groups of six pitches separated by low hedges. There are some mature trees giving shade to some pitches; others have none. However many have lake views. The site is well fenced from the lakeside beach with gate entry.
Facilities at Camping du Lac (Taupont)
Two sanitary blocks, one modern with all British style toilets. Accessible Facilities. Large laundry. Bar, snack bar and shop (July/Aug). Play area. Many activities are organised and there was a small market providing local produce taking place on our visit. Good access for larger units.
Directions to Camping du Lac (Taupont)
From the N24 dual carriageway (Rennes-Lorient) take the Ploërmel-Est exit north onto the D766. Follow signs to town centre. The campsite is 2 km. to the north. Follow the very good signs to Camping du Lac.
