Alan Rogers Review
There are 95 pitches, 67 for touring with electricity (8A) and 15 mobile homes to rent. The pitches are delightfully positioned in a circular formation, the toilet and shower block being at the hub. Shaded or sunny, they are of a good size and divided by trees, shrubs and bamboo. By the side of a large lake, which is directly accessible from the site, swimming from the sandy beach area is supervised in high season by a lifeguard. The aim of the new owners is to provide a haven of peace where you can enjoy the luxuriant nature surrounding the lake and from where you can discover this wonderful region.
A cycle track near the site follows the old railway track and goes to Sarlat (12 km) and Souillac (22 km). An arrangement with the restaurant by the lake offers campsite visitors a free aperitif when dining there. In July and August the facilities at the lake are free of charge to campers and much of the equipment needed is available at reception. A new swimming pool, playground, bar and snack bar with decking have been added by the charming and enthusiastic owners of the site. Entertainment is limited to a weekly communal meal serving food from the region and weekly get together for a welcoming drink.
One central, modern and well equipped toilet and shower block with washbasins in cabins and preset. Facilities for babies and campers with disabilities. Covered laundry and washing up area. Bar and takeaway (all season). Heated outdoor pool (1/5-22/9). Fridge hire. Bicycle hire. Fishing. WiFi (free). Communal meals. Weekly welcoming drink.
From Sarlat on D704 go through Groléjac and at end of village turn right on to D50 signed Domme. After 100 m. turn left, site is 500 m. on left
