Alan Rogers Review of Camping du Lac de Carouge
Camping Lac de Carouge is a well maintained and pleasant campsite next to a very clean, gently shelving, spring fed lake. This is ideal for swimming and playing around in small boats, with pedalos for hire. There are many marked walks and cycle tracks in this beautiful regional park. The site provides 80 large, level, grass pitches with 63 for touring (electricity 6/10A), separated by hedges giving privacy and some shade. Access to the site is easy from the A41, A43 and A430 autoroutes making it ideal for a short stay but you may be tempted to stay longer.
Facilities at Camping du Lac de Carouge
Two toilet blocks with excellent facilities, including a superb family room and accessible suite. Shop for bread and basic groceries, bar/restaurant plus takeaway provision (all facilities all season). Volleyball, table tennis, boules. Bicycle hire. Free WiFi.
Directions to Camping du Lac de Carouge
St Pierre-d’Albigny is just north of the N90/N6, midway between Albertville and Chambéry. Site is well signed on the outskirts of the village.
