This large municipal campsite is set amongst tall pine trees only 400 m. from the beach. There are 474 small, sandy, pitches of which 459 are for touring (half with electricity 7A). They are randomly set out. Some areas are hilly and sloping but this makes for an attractive appearance. Large units may find it difficult to negotiate the trees. In early and late season, this is a quiet site with no facilities other than one sanitary block, but it may be crowded in high season. Not recommended for those with reduced mobility due to the uneven, sandy ground. Torches may be useful.

An ideal site for those who want the quiet life, even in July and August when it becomes busy with surfers. A small shop and surf school opens mid to late June. The only bar/restaurant open (end April) is situated in the small centre of Cap de l’Homy 400 m. from the site.

Facilities at Camping du Cap de l’Homy

Six sanitary blocks are a mix of modern and traditional. Basic Laundry. Motorhome services. Small games room. Surfing beach. Boules and indoor table tennis. Small play area. No barbecues.

Directions to Camping du Cap de l’Homy

Approaching Lit-et-Mix from north on D652, continue through the village. After the Super U supermarket, turn right onto D88 (signed Cap-de-l’Homy Plage). Site on right in 7 km.
