Domaine Le Vernis site is in the middle of the Garrigue, in the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park. The site has a total of 75 pitches of which 34 grass/hardstanding are for touring units with electric hook-up point 12amp. There are also 8 mobile homes, caravans and safari tents available to hire. The advantages of the site include the calm of the Mediterranean climate, a site that respects the environment and a pleasant swimming pool.

This former Vernis wine estate is the ideal place to take a break from where you can visit Minerve, a remarkable site protected by the Brian and Cesse gorges. It is also well situated for outdoor sports such as hiking, mountain biking, climbing and horse riding. You could also visit the exceptional towns and villages such as Narbonne, Béziers and the medieval city of Carcassonne. The site has a bar, snack bar, grocery shop, bread to order, a large swimming pool with a separate paddling pool for the little ones, a playground with a bouncy castle for the children, table tennis, darts and table football will delight the teenagers and a common room is available with television, library and board games.

Directions to Camping Domaine le Vernis

From the A61 exit N25 Lézignan Corbières. Follow Carcassonne on the D611, take care at the 6th roundabout to take the 2nd exit (do not enter the city centre), continue to follow Carcassonne. At the 3rd traffic light, turn right towards Olonzac, Homps. Follow Olonzac. In Olonzac at the roundabout take the 2nd exit towards Beaufort, Aigne. In Beaufort continue straight for 4 kms (do not take the direction Azillanet), then left towards Azillanet D177 and the site is signed. From A9 exit 36 Béziers Ouest. Follow Mazamet, Montady and Capestang. Now follow Carcassonne signs for 15 kms, cross Cabezac always in the direction of Carcassonne. At the roundabout take first 1st exit towards St Pons, Aigues Vives and Minerve D607. Cross Aigues-Vives towards La Caunette, and Minerve. At the 1st roundabout follow signs to Olonzac, St Pons, Minerve, at the 2nd roundabout, take the 2nd exit towards Aigne, Olonzac. Cross Aigne, at the roundabout take the 2nd exit towards Azillanet, Beaufort, Olonzac then 1st road on the right direction Azillanet D177. In 2km you will reach the site.
