Domaine des Salins site in Saint Hilairede Riez is situated 800 metres from the beach in the Vendée close to St Jean de Monts and Saint Gilles Croix de Vie. Here you will find heated indoor and outdoor pools, and kids' club. Saint Hilaire de Riez is a pleasant seaside resort bordered by 14km of coast that has kept true to nature, extensive pine forests and long sandy beaches. Staying in Saint Hilaire de Riez, the Domaine des Salins is ideally close to the beach of Becs. The site has 148 pitches of which 30 are for tourers with a 10-amp hook-up point. The site is just 400 metres from local shops, on the edge of the forest and away from the main road. There are also several mobile homes and wooden chalets that are privately owned or available to rent
Visits in the surrounding area could include, Saint-Jean-de-Monts and its wide-open spaces, Saint Gilles Croix de Vie and its typical port, Noirmoutier and its unforgettable walks, the Yeu Islands and their millennia-old secrets, but also Les Sables d'Olonne and the Puy du Fou, less than an hour from the site. Directions to Camping Domaine des Salins
From Challans take D205 towards St. Jean-de-Monts. At the island join D388 and continue to 3rd island at Bois Dormant campsite and turn right. After Bois Masson campsite turn left onto D123 and follow this road through a right and left turn. Now look out for Chemin du Quart du Matelot and site signs on your left.
