Didota is a family campsite located on the Costa Azahar, slightly to the north of Oropesa del Mar. It is in a holiday area of apartments and campsites, and development of the area continues. The site is next to a sandy and pebbly beach which slopes to the sea. It is small and basic but friendly, with 144 well shaded pitches (90-100 sq.m) with electricity (10/16A), and bungalows to rent. There is an attractive swimming pool with two terraces alongside a restaurant and bar, plus a small, heated, indoor pool. Bicycle and kayak hire are available and there is an outdoor fitness suite, a computer room with satellite TV and a cinema room.

A particular feature of the site is a new children’s summer camp for 5 to 16 year olds, which runs through June and July and includes creative workshops, Spanish classes and sports activities. During the rest of the year there are organised activities for adults such as yoga, pilates and Spanish classes. The site is well placed for visiting other attractions - the towns of Benicassim and Castellon, or further afield Valencia and inland Spain. Frequent bus services run close to the site, and the train station is just three kilometres away, as is the tourist town of Oropesa del Mar with its shops, bars and restaurants.

Directions to Camping Didota

Leave AP7 motorway at Oropesa North exit and follow northbound N340. Leave at the Marina d’Or exit and pass over the railway line. The site is then clearly signed to the right.
