Camping des Grèves is a municipal campsite located in Aixe-sur-Vienne, France. It is situated on the banks of the River Vienne, just a short walk from the town centre. The town of Aixe-sur-Vienne is also worth a visit, with its medieval old town and its many shops and restaurants. It is just ten kilometres from Limoges on the way to Périgueux. There are 58 spacious touring pitches with electric hook-up points available. Pitches are open and are demarcated and well-shaded by mature trees. The campsite doesn't have many facilities on site but has everything needed for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. This includes a children's play area, Daily bread delivery service and a games room for the older children to enjoy. Every Friday evening, welcome drinks are offered which is a great opportunity to meet fellow campers.

Explore Aixe-sur-Vienne , which is charming and walkable from the campsite. There's a beautiful historic centre with a market square, narrow streets lined with half-timbered houses, and the Eglise Sainte-Croix, a 12th-century church. Take a stroll along the Vienne River and enjoy the scenery. The Vienne River is a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. You can go for a swim, a picnic by the riverbank, or rent a canoe or kayak and explore the river at your own pace. The local municipal swimming pool can be found nearby for cooling off in the summer.

Directions to Camping des Grèves

From the the north on the A20 at Limoges take exit 33 and join the N520 Then the N21 in the direction of Périgueux, when reaching Aixe-sur-Vienne cross the river and turn right in the direction of the site.
