Camping Demmelhof is a great place to stay if you are looking for a relaxing and affordable camping experience in the Bavarian countryside. It is close to several towns and villages, and there are plenty of activities to enjoy in the surrounding area, such as hiking, biking, and fishing. The campsite is located in a quiet location on the edge of the village of Wackersberg, about 10 km from Bad Tölz. The site has 149 grass/hardstanding pitches, of which 65 are for touring units with 16-amp hook-up points available. There are also 13 log cabins, tree tents, and sleeping barrels available to hire. On-site facilities include a restaurant with an outdoor dining area where you can enjoy traditional culinary delights of schnitzel or stone-baked pizza. There is also a beach on site where you can enjoy the lake's swimming and sporting opportunities, including fishing.

Enjoy the nearby Alps, the beautiful Bavarian lakes, and the cultural cities of Munich and Salzburg. You can, for example, take a chairlift to the opposite Blomberg and downhill with the summer toboggan run. You can also go skiing or paragliding at Brauneck, cycling on different paths, fishing at the Stallauer lake, hiking around or on the Karwendel, ride a boat on the Isar, climbing the mountain in Bad Heilbrunn, or spend an exciting day in the Alpamare.

Directions to Camping Demmelhof

From Munich or Salzberg the A8 leave at junction 97 Holzkirchen to join the B318 exit to Bad Tölz a journey of about 20km. At Kreuzstrasse, turn right to join the B472 in the direction of Waakirchen, Greiling and Bad Tölz. In Bad Tölz stay on B472 towards Bad Heilbrunn. The site is then on the right off this road diagonally opposite the Blomberg.
