Camping Dei Trulli is just 17 km from the UNESCO-listed site at Alberobello. Staying Inland from the coast offers the chance to see the unusual Trulli properties. It is a dry, almost arid landscape here covered with olive groves, orchards, vineyards, and not forgetting the Trulli (strange circular buildings with conical roofs and domed within, built from local limestone without mortar).

This is a short-stay site offering visitors a chance to explore the area. It has 90 touring pitches surrounded by oak and pine trees, all with 6A electricity. Bungalows and caravans are available to rent. There is an outdoor swimming pool for guests to use whilst staying here, with plenty of umbrellas and sun loungers. The campsite also has a restaurant on-site, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a bite to eat after exploring the Trulli.

The grottos of Castellana are not far away. Alternatively you could visit the Speleological Museum or the astronomical observatory at Sirio which offers the chance to view the sun through a telescope fitted with special solar filters.

The very basic and dated toilet block includes accessible facilities, also houses the washing machine and is used for emptying chemical toilets. Small shop. Restaurant, Bar. Swimming pool and children’s pool (Seasonal). Pool table, Tennis courts, Table tennis, and electronic games. Indoor disco during the winter months. WiFi over site (free).

Directions to Camping Dei Trulli

From E55 coast road south of Bari take Alberobello exit (SP113) and bear left then right. Site is 17 km. along this road. At crossroads go straight ahead towards Alberobello and the site is on the left 1.5 km. before the town.
