Camping De Vledders is set in the centre of one of the most beautiful nature reserves in Holland, between the Drentse Hondsrug and the Drentsche Aa river. This attractive site is landscaped with many varieties of trees and shrubs. There are 100 touring pitches (all with 6A electricity) on rectangular, grassy fields, separated by well kept hedges. The level pitches are around 100 sq.m. in size with some shade provided at the back from mature trees and hedges. Static units and seasonal pitches are on separate fields. In one corner of the site there is an attractive lake with sandy beaches.

Boating, swimming and even windsurfing are possible on the lake. De Vledders is close to the sub-tropical pool at Zuidlaren and the Sprookjeshof, a theme park featuring all the well known fairy tales. Those looking for a quiet holiday in beautiful surroundings with many opportunities for walking and cycling will have a relaxing time here. The interesting old city of Groningen is only ten minutes drive and is even accessible by bicycle.

Directions to Camping De Vledders

From the A28 take exit 35 and continue towards Zuidlaren. Just before Zuidlaren follow signs for Schipborg and then site signs.
