In a quiet location, just a twenty-minute cycle ride from the beach and close to the popular resort of Fréjus, Camping de Vaudois has been run by the Gonzalez family for over 40 years and was started by the owner's Grandfather and the whole family take pride in ensuring the site is of the highest standard, and It was certainly agreed. There are 40 Pitches of a good size, flat and level, with tree shade with low-level hedging dividing each pitch. All had had E.H.U., and most had beautiful views over the surrounding countryside; there are, however, no fully serviced pitches on this site.

Facilities were housed in a central block next to reception and were very clean and modern, with two modern washing machines housed in the same building. The site is level. Those with mobility issues would find it easy to negotiate and reach all areas; a bar/restaurant serves snacks and fresh bread to order. The site also offers a swimming pool (not heated) to enjoy in the sunshine, which seems to be on the pool from dawn until dusk.

This site is a small, kept site and offers peace and tranquillity. There is no entertainment programme, and you can be assured of a peaceful night's sleep. This is a lovely site, and the whole family makes you feel very welcome.

This site is inland from the coast yet within easy reach of the beaches of St Agulf (10 min cycle ride) and the shops and supermarkets of Fréjus (10 min drive). Just 300 m. from the site is a fishing lake and restaurant, and 500 m. away is a cooperative selling fresh local produce and delicacies at reasonable prices. Inland is the village of Roquebrune, whose narrow streets conceal numerous little shops, bars and cafés; in contrast, Fréjus offers more sophistication with smart restaurants and supermarkets.

Sanitary facilities include hot showers and washbasins in cabins. Accessible facilities. Laundry facilities. Swimming pool (1/5-30/9, unsupervised; closed lunchtimes). Snack bar, bread to order. Play area. Boules. Table tennis. Electric and gas barbecues are permitted. Free WiFi in the bar area.

Directions to Camping de Vaudois

From A8 Aix/Cannes motorway leave at exit 36 (Le Muy) and head east on DN7 towards Fréjus. In 8 km. turn south on D7 to Roquebrune and site is signed on right in 8.5 km.
